Veljko Paunovic's team played a strong lineup throughout the match as Katai scored his equalizer prior to the first half break.

New right winger Przemyslaw Frankowski started the first half for the Fire, along with recently acquired center back Marcelo.

Paunovic re-shuffled his backline for the second half and inserted newly-signed attackers Cristian Martinez and Amando Moreno.
