Atlanta United welcomed 70,526 spectators to their Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and broke their own record in the process.

Atlanta's attendance on Sunday against NYCFC in the Eastern Conference Semifinals Leg 2 match set a new mark for highest attendance at a MLS postseason game, smashing the record they set last year in their first-ever playoff game, when they hosted 67,221.

The Five Stripes hold the MLS regular season record for attendance, have hosted the top seven highest attended regular season games in league history, have the record for total home attendance in a season, and also the record for attendance at a U.S. Open Cup match.
