New England Revolution head coach Brad Friedel believes his team can still clinch a playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.
And he's not just throwing out cliches to back up his claim.
Friedel explained his thinking following his team's 2-2 home draw against the Chicago Fire in Week 30. In doing so, he listed the Revs' direct competitors and why he believes each of them can still be caught (watch video above).
New England sit five points behind the sixth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot currently occupied by the Montreal Impact. Here's the Revs' schedule over the final 5 matches of the regular season: at Toronto FC (Sept. 29), at Atlanta United (Oct. 6), vs. Orlando City (Oct. 13), at Real Salt Lake (Oct. 18), vs. Montreal Impact (Oct. 28).
