New York City FC are hosting a 24-hour soccer marathon at the world-famous Rockefeller Center ahead of their home opener on Sunday. Check out the stream above as the two teams – Team Villa and Team Vieira – go five-five for a full day. The game, which runs from 4 pm ET Friday to 4 pm ET Saturday, will feature over 500 fans from all over the city and beyond.
In addition to head coach Patrick Vieira and captain David Villa, Alex Ring, Tommy McNamara, Rodney Wallace, Ronald Matarrita and Anton Tinnerholm were among the NYCFCers in attendance to kick things off. NYCFC will host the LA Galaxy on Sunday at Yankee Stadium (5 pm ET | MLS LIVE; on DAZN in Canada).
