Hector Zagal, a reporter out of Ecuadorian radio outlet Vigia FM, is indicating that 20-year-old Ecuadorian attacker Adolfo Munoz could be moving to MLS.

According to Zagal, there is a $1 million bid on the table for Munoz, a Nacional player and former Ecuador 2017 U-20 contributor, with Columbus Crew SC a potential landing spot. With the fee, Columbus would acquire 70 percent the proceeds of any future sale of the player.

Munoz has three pro seasons under his belt, and scored 11 goals in 35 appearances during the 2017 season. Ecuador's 2018 league calendar begins this weekend. Internationally, he played in six matches for Ecuador in the 2017 U-20 South American championships, but did not represent the side at the 2017 U-20 FIFA World Cup.

Munoz could be a potential solution to replace the scoring lost in separate trades that sent forward Ola Kamara and winger Justin Meram to the LA Galaxy and Orlando City SC, respectively. That duo hit the net a combined 31 times last season.
