A Doyle recently had a good run with the Colorado Rapids – but it appears another one is not on the way.
A report came from the Irish Sun on Wednesday, which reported that the Rapids are one of two teams interested in Irish striker Eoin Doyle. The 29-year-old is currently under contract at English Championship side Preston North End, but has been on loan this season at League One side Oldham Athletic, who are also reportedly interested in bringing him on full-time.
According to the Irish Sun report, Doyle is "mulling his options" about whether to go with the Rapids or Oldham.
However, when reached for comment on the report on Wednesday, director of communications Ryan Madden told MLSsoccer.com that the Rapids have moved on and are currently pursuing other transfer targets.
