A report out of Honduras claims the LA Galaxy are close to adding Honduran goalkeeper Luis Lopez.
La Prensa reported the link, and it was subsequently picked up by AS.com. Lopez, 24, has been a regular for Real España in his native country since making his debut in 2013.
Also a Honduran international, he was a member of Los Catrachos' 2014 World Cup squad and turned heads last summer as the starting goalkeeper at the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, a tournament where Honduras largely disappointed but he shined on an individual level.
After parting ways with their entire goalkeeping corps from the 2017 season, the Galaxy currently have goalkeepers David Bingham and Brian Sylvestre on their roster for the upcoming season.
