Is Oriol Rosell coming back to MLS?

According to a report from Portuguese sports newspaper A Bola, Rosell is indeed on his way to the US after Portugal side Sporting CP received an MLS offer for him.

Rosell, a 25-year-old Spanish midfielder, played for Sporting Kansas City from 2012 to 2014, logging two goals and two assists in 3,412 minutes while helping them win the 2013 MLS Cup. He was then transferred to Portugalā€™s Sporting CP, who has since loaned him to several clubs, including his current team, Portimonense.

Because Rosell left Sporting Kansas City for a transfer fee, he is subject to the leagueā€™s allocation process. FC Dallas currently holds the first pick in the allocation ranking order, followed by the LA Galaxy and D.C. United.
