Team Nemeziz came back to beat Team X in the opening encounter of the second day of game action at the 2018.
Andre Morrison (Hartford) opened the scoring just minutes into the game with a rifled shot after Nemeziz failed to clear a set piece. However, X would give up a penalty following a Video Review determination that they had committed a foul inside the box, and Brian White (Duke) – who had an assist in the opening game – dispatched the spot kick.
Youth international Issaka Nyemewero (Ghana) found the game-winner with a close-range header just before the break, and Marcelo Acuna (Virginia Tech) dispatched another close-range finish for an insurance goal after some smooth setup work from Generation adidas signing Mason Toye (Indiana).
Fans can watch the second Combine game of the day at 2:30 pm ET on MLSsoccer.com when Team Predator faces off against Team Tango.
