LAFC are looking to acquire 21-year-old midfielder Andre Horta, according to a Portuguese report.
Horta is currently under contract with Benfica but on loan until the end of the season at fellow Portuguese top flight club Sporting Braga. Record reported on Wednesday that Benfica are trying to negotiate an early termination of the loan with Braga so that they can sell Horta to LAFC for 6 million euros.
According to the report, Braga declined to end Horta’s loan early, but Benfica and Horta’s representatives are hoping to get the club back at the negotiating table to secure his release.
A Portuguese youth international, Horta has one goal and four assists in 13 appearances for Braga across all competitions this season.
