One year after Anton Walkes left Tottenham on loan to join Atlanta United, another Spurs prospect could be on his way to MLS.
Tottenham-centric blog Lilywhite Rose tweeted on Sunday that 18-year-old attacker Samuel Shashoua could soon be headed on loan to MLS.
Shashoua, who can play on either wing or as a striker, has never appeared for Tottenham’s first team but has scored a pair of goals in 10 appearances for the club’s reserve side this season. He scored one goal in three appearances for the England Under-18 national team last year.
Walkes had a successful first year in MLS, scoring two goals in 20 regular season appearances for Atlanta. His loan expired at the end of the season.
