Jozy Altidore finally broke Stefan Frei's fortress in the 2017 MLS Cup, and made history in the process.
Altidore scored Toronto FC's first MLS Cup goal on Saturday, the club's first ever in their second MLS Cup appearance, in the 67th minute against the Seattle Sounders at BMO Field. Altidore took a beautiful feed from Sebastian Giovinco after a good buildup, and the US international made a terrific run through the Sounders defense to beat Frei in goal.
