The effects of Remi Garde's arrival in Montreal may soon be felt.
According to a Monday report from TVA Sports, the Impact are being linked with a move for Lyon midfielder Clement Grenier. The 26-year-old Frenchman is currently on the books at Lyon in his native land's first division, but has seen little playing time this season and is reportedly exploring options for his next move.
Among the possibilities is a move to Montreal, where Grenier would be reunited with Garde. The two previously worked together at Lyon, and it is there where Grenier enjoyed the most productive seasons of his career under the Impact's new head coach.
Montreal are not the only team that allegedly intrigue Grenier. New York City FC are also a destination that appeal to the attacking veteran.
