Martinez sees red, while Jones gets a yellow in Leg 2

Houston Dynamo midfielder Tomas Martinez received a red card in Thursdays's Western Conference Semifinal second leg in Seattle after Video Review helped identify an incident of violent conduct.

At the 62nd minute, the Seattle Sounders' Jordi Delem won a free kick in the defensive half. Just two minutes later, an ensuing confrontation on the field saw Martinez possibly hitting Delem in the back of the head, and the Sounders' Joevin Jones stepping into the fray.

After Video Review, a red card was shown to Martinez, sending the Dynamo down to 10 men for the remainder of the match. Jones also received a yellow card for pushing Martinez after the play.
