The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued fines to three players following Week 33 of the 2017 MLS regular season.


Boxall hands to face/head/neck

The Disciplinary Committee has found Minnesota United defender Michael Boxall in violation of the league's policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck of an opponent. The incident took place in the 36th minute of Minnesota's match against the San Jose Earthquakes on Oct. 22. As a result of the violation, Boxall has been fined an undisclosed amount.


Afful simulation/embellishment

The Disciplinary Committee has found Columbus Crew SC defender Harrison Afful guilty of simulation/embellishment. The incident took place in the 30th minute of Crew SC's match against New York City FC on Oct. 22. As a result, Afful has been fined an undisclosed amount.


Dempsey failure to leave the field

The Disciplinary Committee has found Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey guilty of failing to leave the field in an orderly manner following his red card in the 24th minute of Seattle's match against the Colorado Rapids on Oct. 22. As a result, Dempsey has been fined an undisclosed amount.
