International Pop Star Jencarlos to sing National Anthem at the 2017 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target  
NEW YORK
(Tuesday, July 25, 2017) –
Major League Soccer today announced that international pop star, singer/songwriter and actor Jencarlos will sing the National Anthem at the 2017 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target on Wednesday, August 2, at Soldier Field in Chicago. The performance will be televised live at 8:30 p.m. ET on FS1, Univision, TSN and TVA Sports in the United States and Canada, as well as in more than 170 countries globally, when the best in MLS will face Spanish giants Real Madrid. 
Jencarlos, who will be releasing his newest single “Dure Dure” with Don Omar on July 28, is a world-renowned Latin pop artist best known for his single "Bajito" (2015) and his song "Baby” (2016). Earlier this year, the Miami-born artist released his third single "Pa Qué Me Invitan.” As an actor, Jencarlos has played the leading role in major telenovelas and films, most recently in FOX’s critically-acclaimed music special “The Passion” and NBC’s “Telenovela” starring alongside Eva Longoria. Founder of the non-profit organization “Walkin the Talk,” Jencarlos encourages his fans to live healthy and active lifestyles.
