There’s magic at BMO Field, and it’s on the side of the Reds. Seattle may have won in Colorado, breaking the Rapids' 2016 unbeaten streak at home, but they won’t do it again as the flurries fall in Toronto on Saturday night.

I really wanted to pick the home team, but my gut kept bringing me back to the Sounders. Thanks to Toronto's 3-5-2, Seattle will find space out wide on the break – space that Jordan Morris and Nico Lodeiro will exploit. That, plus the Sounders' stellar defensive spine of Stefan Frei, Chad Marshall, Roman Torres and Osvaldo Alonso, make this Seattle's year.
Nicholas Rosano - New Media Editor
The Seattle Sounders have been proving people wrong for the last four months and certainly have the capacity do so once more on Saturday, but I just can't bring myself to pick against Toronto's home field advantage and firepower.

At a neutral site, this one's a complete toss-up between two red-hot teams, but given that home teams are 5-2 all-time in MLS Cup – and the fact that BMO Field will be a wind-chilled icebox on Saturday – I've got to go with the Reds.
Ben Couch - Senior Editor
They got the weapons, the health and the momentum – on both sides of the ball.
Arielle Castillo - Senior Editor
As much as I love the Seattle Sounders, I think Toronto FC has a pretty solid shot of taking this – the combination of home field advantage, serious offense, and their propensity for clean sheets at home is going to be pretty hard to beat.
Ben Baer - Associate Editor
The fact that the game will be taking place at BMO Field may be the biggest factor in the game. Both teams are firing on all cylinders, with the stars playing at exceptional levels, so the tiebreaker for me goes to TFC.
Matt Doyle - Senior Editor
They're banging in goals at a rate that no team in playoff history can match, and they'll have home field advantage to boot.
