There’s clearly no stopping Sporting Kansas City in 2016.
Not only are Sporting atop the MLS standings with a perfect 3-0-0 record, but they also took home For the Win’s ultimate sports uniform bracket on Wednesday, resoundingly beating the NHL’s Boston Bruins in the final to take home the title.
SKC took home 74.2 percent of the vote to knock off the Bruins. Kansas City, who were represented in the bracket by the club’s primary uniforms, easily tallied the most votes of any team in the bracket, beating Notre Dame football, the Chicago Cubs, Detroit Red Wings, Michigan football, Oregon football and the Bruins en route to the title.
Sporting have this weekend off, but will don their bracket-winning uniforms again on April 2, when they host Real Salt Lake at Children’s Mercy Park.
