The New England Revolution are following up on last year's city flag kit with a new take on their traditional home jersey, released Thursday night. Inspired by the jackets of the revolutionary war era, the red and white bar design sits prominently at the center. Check out the front and back:
While honoring the war that gave this team its name, they also pay homage to being one of the original ten in the MLS with “1996” sitting on the inside neck insert:
