Seattle Sounders made one of the most-discussed acquisitions of the Major League Soccer offseason by beating out Werder Bremen to sign up-and-coming US national teamer Jordan Morris.

And finally, after a stint with the national team, the 21-year-old former Stanford star hit the training field for his hometown club. Watch the highlights here.

According to the Seattle Times, Morris' reputation as a highly-touted prospect didn't stop his Sounders teammates from hazing the rookie ahead of the practice. His teammate Brad Evans started the pranks early.

“He told me to sit in the front seat and then snapped that picture,” Morris said to the Times responding to the prank. “I think he set me up.”

Evans simply stated after, “He’s always going to say that, right? He’s got to protect himself. He’s got to protect that ego.”

Morris could make his Sounders preseason debut against FC Celaya on Tuesday.
