MLS Disciplinary Committee fines Kendall Waston, Daneil Cyrus for Hands to the Face/Head/Neck of opponent

Two more players have been sanctioned for their conduct in Week 29, the MLS Disciplinary Committee announced Tuesday.


Vancouver Whitecaps defender Kendall Waston has been fined an undisclosed amount for violating MLS's policy regarding Hands to the Face/Head/Neck of an opponent in the Whitecaps' 3-0 loss to the Seattle Sounders on Saturday. The incident occured in the 86th minute. (VIDEO)


The Chicago Fire's Daneil Cyrus was was also penalized for violating that policy, with his play coming in the 56th minute of the Fire's 1-0 loss vs. Orlando City SC on Saturday. (VIDEO)


Additionally, both the Whitecaps and Sounders were found to be in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy in the 81st minute of their match. (VIDEO)


These punishments come following the MLS Disciplinary Committe's initial sanctions against players for actions in Week 29's midweek matches.
