Staying (mostly) contained to a single quadrant of the field in no way limits the mileage: During last Wednesday’s match between the Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City at Providence Park, PRO referee Corey Rockwell recorded his zigzagging path using the MapMyRun app.
