New York City FC's Frank Lampard struggles to climb up a rope ladder | SIDELINE

Frank Lampard celebrates sixth goal

Frank Lampard can score goals. He can deliver assists. He can make big-time tackles.

He cannot, however, climb up a rope ladder.

Lampard was recently out at sea, swimming and enjoying his downtime ahead of his NYCFC arrival. Like anyone else, the 37-year-old Lampard eventually wanted to get back to dry land, but failed miserable in his attempt.

The Designated Player struggled to pull himself up the ladder, barely getting past the first few rungs before smacking right back into the water.

Thankfully for NYCFC, we know he made it out. Somehow.

Lampard was spotted at Yankee Stadium during this weekend's entertaining match between New York City FC and the New York Red Bulls. He is expected to train with the club in the coming days and make his debut in NYCFC's home game vs. Toronto FC on July 12.

I may have an OBE but it seems I can't climb a ladder #sticktothedayjob
