Montreal Impact supporters are already buzzing about Tuesday's CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal second leg and now they have something else to get excited about: a new secondary jersey for 2015.
The unveiling happened on Saturday night at a supporters event held at Olympic Stadium, where the club will host Mexican side Pachuca on Tuesday, March 3 (8 pm ET, Fox Sports 2) after a 2-2 road tie earlier this week. The club introduced the members of its 2015 roster, donning the white kit.
The new shirt is an updated look to their white away shirt from last year with a new front neck design and a shade of three horizontal stripes across the front.
The other major feature is the Montreal fleur-de-lys, which is (1) engineered into the fabric (see right), (2) subtly added to the background of the club crest and (3) showcased in metallic 3D form on the back of the shirt near the neck line (above right).
Saturday night's unveiling officially kicked off the 2015 edition of Jersey Week. Click here for the rest of the week's schedule.
