Orlando City SC are set to make their Major League Soccer debut roughly four short months from now. The first-team roster is slowly but surely coming together, with many more pieces to be added over the next two months.
On Thursday, Orlando City's official Twitter account began a courting process of its own that might fill that second Designated Player slot.
The subject of the OCSC Twitter account's affection was none other than US national team forward, and birthday boy, Jozy Altidore.
It was a thoughtful bit of advice, but Altidore, who was raised in Boca Raton, Florida, is well aware that the Sunshine State is the place to be this time of year, as temperatures drop in a large part of the rest of the United States.
@OrlandoCitySC so I've heard. Loving the new kits and thank you.— Jozy Altidore (@JozyAltidore) November 6, 2014
Altidore, whose first professional club plays about 1000 miles north of Orlando, way up I-95, has long maintained that he remains a Red Bull at heart. And he's kept a sharp eye on the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs, presented by AT&T as well:

Altidore is widely expected to leave current club Sunderland of the EPL for new horizons this January. On Wednesday, Grant Wahl reported on Fox Sports 1 that several MLS clubs are interested.
