Seattle Sounders duo Zach Scott, Brad Evans don pink tutus over soccer kits for The Tutu Project | SIDELINE

Seattle Sounders' Zach Scott, Brad Evans wearing pink tutus

Playing soccer requires a certain amount of grace and finesse — particularly in the feet — to find any kind of success.

Perhaps no artform, though, requires more grace, finesse, nimbleness and elegance than ballet dancing. When they say, "Stay on your toes," they mean only your toes.

With that being said, we're not sure being pro soccer players qualifies Seattle Sounders defender Zach Scott and midfielder Brad Evans to become professional ballerians. At least, not on the surface it doesn't.

Now that you've seen the Sounders duo in pink tutus, we'll explain why exactly they're wearing them.

It's all a part of The Tutu Project, a movement raising awareness and funds for breast cancer among both men and women.

The mission of The Tutu Project is to support the fund raising efforts of The Carey Foundation for men and women with breast cancer. The group strives to bring laughter and understanding to a community that has endured far too much.

Why the tutus, you ask? Creators of The Tutu Project, Bob and Linda Carey, tell their personal story best.

Props to Zach and Brad for putting aside any sort of pride and/or shame and doing something for a great cause.
