Frank Lampard celebrates goal vs. Hull City

Frank Lampard just can't stop scoring.

The New York City FC Designated Player scored his fourth goal in three matches on loan at Manchester City on Saturday, closing at 4-2 victory against Hull City with a one-touch finish inside the area in the 87th minute.

Lampard's debut goal for Man City came last weekend, a dramatic equalizer against former club Chelsea. He followed that up with two goals against Sheffield United in a 7-0 Capital One Cup victory.

Asked whether his loan with City could be extended past January, when NYCFC will begin preseason preparations, Lampard didn't rule out the possibility but said it wasn't necessarily up to him.

“That will obviously be a club decision first and foremost," Lampard said. "I wouldn't want to get too ahead of myself. It's not my place to do that.

“I'll just train as hard as I can and play as well as I can – that’s the important thing – then we'll see what happens. I'm signed here until January so that's all I can say at the minute.”
