Suddenly Michael Harrington's @MikeyMoMoney2 Twitter handle makes a whole lot more sense.

The Portland Timbers defender might be the baddest poker player in all of MLS, and he took CSN Northwest to a recent Portland poker club tournament to show off skills.

We won't spill the beans on whether or not Harrington came out on top in the tournament, but we will say the above video is worth watching because he definitely made the final table — and perhaps even the final two players left standing.

For Harrington, poker's not just a fun thing to do during boys' night once a month. Rather, it's a rigorous exercise of the mind and test of strong will.

"It's about taking advantage of people you think you can take advantage of, getting the money when you can," Harrington said. "I look at poker as a game of people, more so than a card game or a luck game. That's what I like so much about it. I'm really into psychology. I like trying to get a read on people and I just find that fascinating."
