VIDEO: In quest to find new bash brother, LA Galaxy's Alan Gordon is destroying everyone | SIDELINE

LA Galaxy's Alan Gordon chest bumps a fan to the ground

You really have to feel for a guy like Alan Gordon.

The LA Galaxy forward had a pretty good thing going the last two-plus years as a member of the San Jose Earthquakes. Alongside fellow "bash brother" Steven Lenhart, Gordon played a huge role in San Jose's tradition of late heroics.

Fast forward to Aug. 11, 2014, and Gordon's bashing-with-brother world was flipped upside down. With Gordon traded to the Galaxy that day, the bash brothers' run as a highly successful forward duo came to an end.

Since taking the field for the Galaxy, Gordon has hit the ground running, finding the back of the net four times in just nine appearances, including the late game-winner against FC Dallas this past weekend. But something's still not quite right with "Gordo." Something feels a bit out of place. It's as if a part of the 32-year-old Long Beach, California native is missing.

In his quest to find that missing piece, he's run into a few troubles along the way. See for yourself.
