ExtraTime Radio: Is Obafemi Martins the best player in the Western Hemisphere? | Inside the Union academy

Best In The West?

Bradley Wright-Phillips hit his third hat trick of the year against Seattle. He's got 24 goals, just three shy of the all-time record for a single season. Does he deserve MVP? Maybe. And even if he does, David says there's still a good chance Obafemi Martins is the best player in MLS. Why stop there? What about the Western Hemisphere?

There's plenty more to talk about around MLS, too. Who had it worse than Rapids goalkeeper Joe Nasco this weekend? Why was Mike Magee so hacked off? Why are we talking about Ronaldinho? It's all here.

While the men got the headlines over the weekend, it's the youngsters that get the pub this week with the start of MLSsoccer.com's 24 Under 24 series. Former Rangers FC academy czar and current Philadelphia Union academy director Tommy Wilson joins the guys to explain what they're doing to produce the next wave of talent in the City of Brotherly Love.
