This might not be the sort of return Bright Dike was looking for.

The Toronto FC forward was a 68th-minute substitute on Saturday night, with his side chasing a 4-1 deficit at Sporting Park. For Dike, the appearance itself was the victory, as it marked the Nigerian international's return to the pitch after six months away while recuperating from an Achilles' tear that cost him a spot at the World Cup.

Still, Dike might want this one back. His right-footed rocket was saved by Sporting Kansas City's Jon Kempin. His cleat, however, took a beautiful arc into the net – a feat that was sarcastically applauded by The Cauldron. Check it out:
