AMSTERDAM – Bob Bradley's Stabæk continued their stingy NM Cupen run on Wednesday, with an early strike made to stand up for a 1-0 victory over quarterfinal guests FK Haugesund.
Andrew Jacobson and Michael Stephens each put in a solid 90-minute midfield shift for the Blue Ones, who rode a first-minute Magne Hoseth goal to the final four.
Stabæk, who have allowed just one goal in five cup matches this year, will now look forward to their first semifinal contest in the tourney since finishing as runners-up in 2008.
