On Monday, we shared with you a video of LA Galaxy forward Robbie Keane accepting something known as the ALS "Ice Bucket Challenge."
In doing so, we declared the challenge "over" for the rest of the general public, as Keane appeared poolside with many friends chanting his name and singing his song as his wife poured a bucket of ice-cold water over his head.
It was glorious. It was what we all wanted our own lives to be. We thought it couldn't be outdone. But we were wrong.
See, when we declared the "Ice Bucket Challenge" over on Monday, we truly thought no one would, or could, take the challenge as far as Keane did.
And then Portland Timbers head coach Caleb Porter went and did the following.
Yes, Porter — who also led the AT&T MLS All-Star squad to a 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich — just called out Bayern manager Pep Guardiola, who, as we all remember, refused to shake the hands of Porter and his coaching staff following the match.
