Shot or Cross: USWNT, Seattle Reign's Megan Rapinoe floats one in from very wide area | SIDELINE

It's time, once again, to play a little game called "Shot or Cross?"

This week's edition of the timeless classic comes to us via US women's national team player Megan Rapinoe, who also stars for the Seattle Reign of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). The goal in question can be found below.

Based upon a first watch, it looks to be a cross all the way.

But if you take into account the positioning of the goalkeeper, who's crouching at her near post, you could make a case that a player possessing Rapinoe's supreme technical ability and playmaking vision might spot the back post wide open with no defender in sight.

It's still more than likely a cross-gone-wrong-right, but all we're saying is, don't completely write off Rapinoe's brilliance without thinking about it first.
