Transfer Watch: Secondary transfer window now open for Major League Soccer

Major League Soccer's secondary transfer window opened on Tuesday, as clubs across the league look to add talent for the stretch run and the push to the playoffs.


The deadline for acquiring players from another country in this window is Aug. 6. All international players acquired during this window will require an International Transfer Certificiate (ITC).


Previous players who have joined MLS during this window include Thierry Henry and Robbie Keane, as well as Federico Higuain, Tim Cahill, Vicente Sanchez, Mauro Diaz and Bradley Wright-Phillips.
