World Cup: Germany bring Bastian Schweinsteiger & Lukas Podolski into starting XI vs. USA

German national team head coach Jochim Low has made some changes to his starting lineup for the massive Group G finale against the USA.

Bayern Munich midfield engine Bastian Schweinsteiger is making his first start, replacing Sami Khedira, who has been an injury doubt for the past few days. Schweinsteiger subbed on in die Mannschaft's 2-2 draw with Ghana over the weekend.

Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski also gets the start, in place of Mario Gotze. Podolski made substitute appearances in Germany's matches against Ghana and Portugal.

The rest of the lineup is the same as in the previous two games, with Jerome Boateng, who was battling for fitness, in at his usual spot, right back.
