World Cup: New York Red Bulls forward Tim Cahill just scored the goal of the tournament

Tim Cahill celebrates his spectacular goal against the Netherlands

Tim Cahill hasn't gotten going for the Red Bulls yet this season, but he's going out all guns blazing for Australia so far in the World Cup. He just picked up his second goal in two games with this absolute scorcher vs. the Netherlands:

Cahill's volley was the equalizer, coming just moments after Arjen Robben had given the heavily favored Dutch a 1-0 lead.

And, of course, everybody needs to spare a thought for Houston goalkeeper Tally Hall, who suffered a bit of PTSD after seeing that Cahill rip:

EDIT:Cahill picked up a yellow card just before half time for a vicious challenge on Martins Indi, his second of the tournament. That rules him out of the Group B finale vs. Spain next week.
