World Cup: Jurgen Klinsmann says USMNT can't win it all? It doesn't slip Stephen Colbert

First it was John Oliver, now fellow funny man Stephen Colbert has joined the fray.

Turns out the US national team is supplying plenty of material for the late-night shows these days. Namely, the statement by US boss Jurgen Klinsmann that his team cannot win the World Cup.

"So what, Jurgen? We can play the game of our lives seven times," Colbert says in The Colbert Report clip above. "Heck, they did it every week on Friday Night Lights. That's not the American way to give up before you begin."

So Colbert is clearly confused. And what better person to help enlighten him on Klinsmann's thinking? The Honorable Hans Beinholtz. He really cleared a lot of things up.
