World Cup: Cristiano Ronaldo learns how to throw a football from New York Jets

Portugal will face the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday night at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., and in preparation for the game, Portugal have been training at the Jets facility in Florham Park over the past week.

With some spare time on his hands, Cristiano Ronaldo decided to trying throwing an American football, and while it did not look especially pretty, was it really worse than some of the quarterbacks the team has had in the past?

While it's seriously unlikely that Jets coach Rex Ryan will decide to sign Ronaldo by Wednesday – which would leave him unavailable for the World Cup – I'm sure Jurgen Klinsmann is rooting for Ronaldo's potential new sporting career to work out.
