American players are not just exporting their soccer skills to Europe these days.
They're sharing our supporter traditions across the pond, as well.
Before playing 78 minutes for the Canaries against visiting Saint-Etienne, USMNT World Cup hopeful Alejandro Bedoya was asked to be a crowd warmer. His strategy? The same "I believe that we will win" chant that has gained a strong foothold among MLS supporters groups, led by those of Sporting Kansas City.
Too bad for Bedoya it didn't work: Saint-Etienne walked out of Stade de la Beaujoire-Louis Fonteneau, 3-1 winners.
Those Nantes supporters probably have no idea US soccer fans borrowed it from college basketball.
