According to Orlando City SC, it is coming.
What "it" is, when "it" will happen and what "it" will mean for the 21st team in Major League Soccer is still unclear.
Along with the above tweet came a Twitter avatar change that saw the current club logo disappear, replaced by the same purple square seen above.
Connecting a couple of dots here and there, this would lead any simple-minded soccer fan to believe that "it" would be the new logo which will accompany OCSC when the club makes its jump to MLS in 2015.
"We'll maintain 'the Lions' as our nickname, and the lions will play a prominent part in the logo," club founder and president Phil Rawlins said shortly after the club was named as an MLS expansion team in November.
With that in mind, what would you like to see from a new OCSC logo? Should the three lions remain? Should they be reduced to just one, more fierce lion? Share your thoughts and hopes in the comments below.
