The latest AT&T Goal of the Week vote has shaped up as a two-man race.
Entering the final day of voting, Gastón Fernández's acrobatic finish for the Portland Timbers has earned 35.41 percent of the vote, just a nose ahead of New England Revolution rookie Patrick Mullins' lefty missile at 33.94 percent.
The rest of the Week 9 contenders sit much further back. In third place, Colorado veteran Vicente Sánchez's chip is deadlocked with the bomb from Vancouver playmaker Pedro Morales at 12.12 percent, and Houston Dynamo forward Giles Barnes rounds out the field at 6.41 percent.
As you can see, your vote could prove crucial this week. Cast your ballot for your favorite goal before voting ends!
The winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and will be announced on Friday.
Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week — including an archive of all of this season's nominees and winners — click here.
