In a week with no draws, it took a remarkable late comeback to pace the pack in the Castrol Index Weekly Top 20.
The two attackers for Real Salt Lake who led the charge in their come-from-behind 3-2 win over the Chicago Fire in Week 9, Álvaro Saborío and Joao Plata, lead the Castrol Index as the week's top performers.
Saborio, who scored the equalizer and assisted on the gamewinner, earned top honors, while Plata, who scored two goals, including the winner, finished right behind his strike partner.
New York Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles (No. 3), who saved a penalty in his team's 1-0 road win over FC Dallas, is in the Top 5 for the third week running, while another player who scored late to push his team to victory, Chad Marshall of the Seattle Sounders, ranked No. 4 for the week.
Chicago's Mike Magee, on the wrong side of RSL's comeback, had a goal in the loss and earned the No. 5 spot.
