AMSTERDAM – Mikkel Diskerud helped set up both goals as Rosenborg moved into fourth place with a 2-1 fightback Tippeligaen victory at Sogndal on Thursday.

In the 28th minute, the US midfielder's long throw was flicked on by Alexander Søderlund for Tore Reginiussen to cancel an early deficit. Then, eight minutes after intermission, he released wingback Mikael Dorsin to send an inch-perfect cross that Søderlund bagged for the winner.

One of two remaining unbeaten sides in the Norwegian top flight through six rounds, Rosenborg stayed within three points of the top spot ahead of Sunday's visit from leaders Molde FK.
