Reminder: The transfers deadline locks 7:15 pm ET on Wednesday, so be sure to make all your moves before then. As usual, you'll be able to substitute players up until their scheduled game time.
Round 6 of MLS Fantasy Manager was somewhat mediocre for most, unless of course you owned Clint Dempsey. The high score dropped from 102 points to just 87 and the overall average decreased just a bit as well.
Federico Higuaín was once again the most-captained player this round, but will he make it three weeks in a row? Columbus have a home match against D.C. United this weekend, but the Philadelphia Union will be hosting the first double-game week of the season. And with Dempsey on the rise, Round 7 of MLS Fantasy is shaping up to be one of the best yet.
Here's the recap for Round 6, along with some DGW advice and the top transfers both in and out.
Overall Recap
- Games (9): 20 goals, 4 clean sheets
- Top Player(s): Clint Dempsey
- Highest Score: 87 points (MLS Magicians)
- Average Score: 37 points
- Most-Captained: Federico Higuaín
- Dream Team: Round 6

DGW Advice
The table below ranks the top eight Philadelphia players based on total score. It also gives you a look at their production from Round 6, their overall price and the amount of fantasy managers who currently own them as well.
- Leo Fernandes is the most selected Union player at the moment, and for good reason. His production vs price is one of the best on the team.
- Zac MacMath is going to be added heavily this week, but by the looks of it, who will produce (or be a sure bet) for Philly beyond that is not certain.
- Maurice Edu is averaging 5.5 points/game, which is one of the best on the team, but it comes with a pretty hefty price tag: $9.1m.
- Sébastien Le Toux was great in Rounds 2 and 3 (totaling 18 points), but has since cooled off, totaling just 8 points over the last three rounds.
So despite the bonus of having multiple games this week, fantasy managers don't have it easy. Personally, I have four players from the Union in my lineup this week: Amobi Okugo, MacMath, Le Toux and Nogueira. As of right now, the armband is on Okugo, however, that could change between now and Wednesday.

TABLE: See which Philadelphia Union players are being added the most this week!
Top Transfers (IN)
Dempsey is officially the hottest player in the game at the moment and fantasy owners are taking note. Traditionally, players with DGWs will lead the Transfers IN category, but with five goals in the last two games, the US national team striker's stock is shooting up.
What's more surprising is the transfer breakdown for Philadelphia players so far (See complete list here).

Top Transfers (OUT)
It's funny how quickly fantasy managers can turn on a player. All five players below were at one point some very sexy pickups. Now, they get the axe.
Be careful when it comes to following trends though. Transferring these players out of your lineup now would decrease the risk of losing value, but don't be too quick to pull the trigger.
Will Bruin has DGWs coming up in Rounds 8, 10 and 12. Why transfer him out now? Philadelphia travel to Red Bull Arena this week for a Wednesday night clash with New York and then travel back to Philly for a Saturday afternoon game vs. Houston. The advantage should favor the visiting (but, rested) Dynamo side in that one.
