Sporting Kansas City and Real Salt Lake are all set to meet on Saturday night (8:30 pm ET, MLS Live) for the first time since the two teams took part in an epic, 10-round penalty kick shootout in last year's MLS Cup.
There has been all kinds of "we hate them," "no, we hate them," "but we hated them first," "but we hate them more" hype from either side this week.
The latest - and funniest - bit of pot-stirring, though, was delivered by RSL general manager Garth Lagerwey in the above 46-second video, in which he ironically recites vitriolic tweets from Sporting KC players following last year's final.
It's Twitter, read aloud, as if it was spoken word poetry.
