Report: San Jose Earthquakes claim Toluca film training session, file complaint to CONCACAF

The CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal series between the San Jose Earthquakes and Mexico's Toluca took an unusual turn on Wednesday after Brian Dunseth reported on the Fox Sports 2 broadcast just prior to kickoff that San Jose had filed a complaint to CONCACAF claiming that Toluca filmed one of their training sessions.

The series is currently knotted at 1-1 on aggregate after the first leg in San Jose.

Neither the Earthquakes nor CONCACAF immediately responded to MLSsoccer.com requests for comment on the report.

MLSsoccer.com will provide further updates on this story as it develops.
