Wildcard
More than 1,000 people have already decided to revamp their team by using their one-and-only wildcard for the season. With unlimited transfers in Rounds 11, 15 and 16, it might not be the smartest decision to use your wildcard this early in the season, but sometimes using it early can have its advantages.
Last year, I used my wildcard in Round 3 and it helped me build my bankroll. This was vital to my success in MLS Fantasy, but there were times later on that I could've benefited from it, especially when it came to the abundance of double-game weeks later on in the season.
After studying the fantasy schedule, I'm more inclined to hold off on using my wildcard until Rounds 19, 26 and 27. Several people will use their wildcard before we get to that point in the season and saving it until then could help you make a late season push up the overall rankings.
