The New England Revolution have been showcasing a smooth, crisp playing style in recent years under Jay Heaps. Now they have the home jersey to match it.
The club on Tuesday night unveiled the clean-looking primary kit at a jersey launch event for supporters in Boston.
Although the shirt maintains the dark navy color from years past, what stands out is the re-designed jersey sponsor logo for UnitedHealthcare that also appears on the secondary kit which is being used for the third straight year.
Other details on the home shirt include the Flag of New England on the back, centered between the shoulders, which includes a 3-D pine tree. Also, an "Est. 1996," in reference to the inaugural season of the club, is printed on the inside neck of the shirt.
