The long-rumored arrival of Luke Moore in MLS is official.

Chivas USA formally announced the signing on Monday, ending weeks of speculation about the English veteran's future. The 28-year-old Moore joins the Goats after having last played for Turkish club Sanica Boru Elazigspor, where he was scoreless in 17 appearances.

“Moore is a very talented player who has proven his scoring ability at the international level by playing in one of the biggest leagues in the world,” said Chivas USA head coach Wilmer Cabrera in a club statement. “He’s going to be a very important addition to our team in terms of competition, depth, and possibilities up front to create scoring opportunities and goals.”

Prior to landing in Turkey, Moore spent a chunk of his young professional career with Aston Villa in the Premiership. He also enjoyed stints with West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City.

Moore will be eligible to play for Chivas USA upon receipt of his International Transfer Certificate. Per club and League policy, terms of the agreement will not be disclosed.
